Vertu Motors has taken on All Clean Ltd to handle cleaning at eight of its Bristol Street Motors dealerships as part of its ‘War on Waste’ programme to rationalise regional suppliers and improve its environmental credentials.
Elaine Cole, purchasing director for Vertu, said: “In this region we were working with four different suppliers and needed to secure a more competitive service package. We chose All Clean as it demonstrated a professional approach and already had a good track record having cleaned the Ford dealership on Bristol Street in Birmingham City centre for the last 12 years. We also plan to make savings by reducing waste by 20% across the group over the next few years and this means increasing our recycling and All Clean will help us by monitoring use of consumables and opting for environmentally sound materials and supplies.”
Cleaning to an environmental brief will all be part of the service for All Clean according to MD Mark Weston: “We already work with environmentally sensitive clients using the latest cleaning technology. We will continue to meet the particular challenges of car dealerships where showrooms must be kept pristine and separate from the inevitable grease and dirt generated by the workshops; not to mention maintaining these high standards seven days a week.”
