Unify secures contract with Liverpool Science Park

Unify by Bruntwood has been awarded a contract providing cleaning services at Liverpool Science Park. The contract, which began in January, sees the firm deliver facilities services to common spaces, office and laboratory spaces across all three of the science park’s purpose-built innovation centres.

Unify has been selected as a partner to maintain spaces and ensure a safe hygienic environment to help customers to continue with their ground-breaking work at the facility. Unify will undertake cleaning across the buildings’ shared spaces and common areas. In addition to these areas, Unify will provide daily cleaning to the suites of the park’s serviced office customers.

Simon Durbin, director for soft services at Unify, said: “As a new market entrant, to be awarded a contract of this calibre demonstrates that businesses are increasingly placing greater emphasis on service quality, which we’re able to demonstrate through the experience and specialisms of those within our team. Over 70% of our workforce has transferred to us from existing FM suppliers, so we have a wealth of the industry’s best talent under our roof. But even more importantly, our strategy for delivery is based on us having been recipients of FM services in the past - we know the pain points, we know the shortcomings and we launched Unify to offer something different. In particular, we use technology and data-led reporting to provide ‘smart’, real-time information on our customers’ service delivery so we can adapt in line with their fluctuating needs.”
