Tork Vision Cleaning celebrates 10 years at the Cleaning Show

Tork Vision Cleaning takes centre stage on the Essity stand at this year's Cleaning Show as the data-driven technology celebrates 10 years in operation. An estimated 1.2 billion people today now travel through Tork Vision Cleaning connected buildings. And more than 1.3 million messages are sent every day via 100,000 connected devices to cleaners working with the system.

Tork Vision Cleaning allows staff members to remotely check on washroom usage and dispenser refill levels via a smartphone or tablet. They can then target those facilities where a top-up of soap or paper is required.

“We are seeing a growing demand for the data-driven cleaning technology, particularly in high-traffic spaces such as airports, stadiums and large office buildings,” said Pablo Fuentes, president of Essity’s global Professional Hygiene business. “This solution has the direct market experience to provide data that empowers cleaners, reduces washroom user complaints and increases cleaning efficiency.”

Another Cleaning Show highlight will be the Tork Focus4 Sustainability programme which is designed to promote transparency and help customers meet their sustainability goals.

“Customers need clear and comprehensible sustainability data to inform their decision-making when choosing suppliers,” said Essity’s Professional Hygiene Sustainability and Tender Specialist Lydia Brant. “Tork Focus4 Sustainability provides a comprehensive summary of the key sustainability benefits of selected Tork systems.”

Also on show will be the the Tork PeakServe Continuous Hand Towel Dispenser - which gives out sheets of paper one at a time so that washroom visitors are discouraged from taking out more than they need – and the Tork SmartOne toilet paper dispenser. This reduces consumption by up to 40% because it automatically limits the amount of toilet paper that people take out.

Essity will also be showcasing its Tork PaperCircle recycling service for paper towels. This reduces total carbon footprint by 40% by creating a closed loop system for used washroom hand towels. The towels are collected by Tork PaperCircle sustainability partners and taken to local recycling centres where they are turned into other tissue products.
