City University London has appointed specialist education cleaning company, Julius Rutherfoord, to maintain its 915,000 sq ft, 22-site campus in London EC1. This three-year multi-million pound contract - with the option of two further 12 month extensions - is Julius Rutherfoord's largest contract win to date, and marks the company's expansion into the university sector.

Julius Rutherfoord will be responsible for cleaning the entire complex, which is used by students, academics and professional staff from all around the world. Services provided by Julius Rutherfoord will include daily cleaning, window cleaning, washroom services and periodic deep cleans outside of term, including detailed floorcare work to restore surfaces affected by heavy footfall. Porters will also be provided at Cass Business School.

Andrew Marshall, managing director at Julius Rutherfoord, said: “City University London is a very prestigious client and we are proud to have been selected to provide high quality cleaning services. This major contract also validates our position as a leading service provider in the education sector.”

Julius Rutherfoord's reputation as a specialist cleaner for educational establishments in London has developed over the past 20 years, thanks to services and results delivered for a large number of academic institutions.
