The response from exhibitors and visitors about the Cleaning Show 2009 has been incredible, with several describing it as the best show they have ever attended, and the majority proclaiming it as an overwhelming success.
Exhibitors said:
The Cleaning Show 2009 exceeded all our expectations. The stand was busy throughout the three days, and we received many more expressions of interest in association membership than at previous shows. There was some pre-show pessimism but this was dispelled by the quality of the attendees and their willingness to engage with exhibitors and with the industry as a whole.
Andrew Large, chief executive, CSSA.
The 2009 show was about the 8th that we have done and probably the smallest - but the quality of the leads far exceeded any previous show. It was a very busy 3 days with good quality companies looking to buy product.
Paul Brownhill, managing director, EcoTech (Europe).
The show was better than anticipated! I think the organisers did a great job of consolidating the area to give the show a real vibrant buzz.
Darren Marston, managing director, ICE Ltd.
Despite the doom & gloom within the business community, attendance at the 2009 Cleaning Show was impressive. The quality of visitors who had made the effort to attend was good.
Mike James, managing director, Bio-Productions.
Day one of the Cleaning Show saw the presentation of the Cleaning Show Innovation Awards.
The judges - Michael Poulter, Bob Vincent, Jack Broadley and Neil Nixon - spent the first day of the Show visiting the stands of the finalists across five categories to decide on the category winners.
