Shepherd FM has secured a TFM contract with Anite, a FTSE 350 business and one of the world's leading software solutions providers to the wireless and travel sectors. The company has agreed a contract with Shepherd FM for a bespoke Total FM service that will include cleaning, M&E, catering, front of house, security, grounds maintenance, horticulture, and project management including specialist interiors and design. Currently the contract covers two buildings and around 300 Anite employees.
The focus of the contract is to work in partnership with the client, not just in terms of providing critical support services but developing the team. It is a first generation agreement with Anite, with some of its people, formerly in-house service providers, transferring to Shepherd FM.
“We were immediately impressed with the attitude and approach of the Shepherd FM team,” said Andrew Greenwood, finance director of Anite's handset testing business. “When they began helping us with our recent move we saw first-hand their desire to provide us with excellent customer service and to ensure everyone gelled as one single unit. We have every confidence that they will work with us as a team and make sure our facilities our best in class.”
Noel Clancy, chief executive of Shepherd FM, said: "Anite is the latest organisation to recognise that Shepherd FM has the scale and skill to deliver a tailored FM package. As this was a first generation deal, Anite were determined to find the right home for the transferring staff members, many of whom have served them loyally for a number of years. Anite felt our values, culture and approach to staff development were aligned, but equally recognised that as FM experts, we were better placed to support and develop the facilities team during the next phase of their exciting expansion programme.”
