Servest Group has appointed Mike Proctor as managing director for the building services division. Proctor is responsible for developing Servest's building services offering and differentiating it from other mechanical and electrical businesses by introducing innovative practices and new technologies.
The division provides technical energy and facilities engineering services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK. His building maintenance company, FML, was acquired by Servest in October 2014. He previously held managing director roles at Cofely (the former Cofathec business) and was responsible for a number of high profile contracts with the British Library, Whitehall and other government departments. Servest has made several other key building services acquisitions over the past few years, namely Maxwell Stewart and FSG in July and October 2013 respectively, as well as acquisitions across its catering, security and cleaning divisions.
Proctor said: “I'm delighted to be brought on board with Servest at such an exciting time of growth for the business. It's also an exciting time for the building services division, as we continue to help our customers to drive performance to the next level by introducing innovative practices and new technologies.”
