SBFM is led by founder and owner, Colin Shute, and CEO Matthew Chapman, and has embarked on an unprecedented year of growth. Already partnering with leading clients across multiple sectors, SBFM has won contracts with leading brands and organisations across multiple sectors. The company continues to go from strength to strength and this has been noted by external bodies.
E2E has recognised SBFM as one of the top 100 UK companies in terms of job creation . This year saw the launch of SBFM’s flagship programme Evolve, which is designed to give second chances to those who might be overlooked when it comes to employment or development opportunities, such as ex-offenders, ex-military personnel, minority ethnic groups or the differently abled.
As well as E2E, SBFM has been recognised as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in England by Fast Growth 50, where it placed SBFM as the 23rd fastest growing business in the north of England out of over one million.
SBFM has also been placed 62nd on the list of 100 fastest growing founder-led businesses in the UK . As stated on the FEBE website, there are over 4.2 million private companies in the UK; of these; 45,000 are classed as ‘fast-growing’. For SBFM to be ranked as number 62 just shows the rapid upward trajectory the company is currently on.
This is further evidenced by SBFM being a finalist for the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award at the IWFM Awards 2023. Again, to be recognised and reach the final of such a high-profile, prestigious award only serves to showcase the upward mobility and progressive mindset SBFM are currently focused on.
Matt Chapman, CEO, SBFM, said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised by so many different boards for our growth this year. 2023 has been a fantastic year for SBFM and these awards just serve as proof of this. We launched our brand new values and I’m delighted that we’re able to showcase the effectiveness of these through many pieces of recognition. Everyone who works for SBFM knows what we stand for and what we want to achieve, and every team in every department is aligned with our company goals. 2024 is set up to be another fantastic year, and I’m really proud to see this company continue to grow. The excitement is real, we still feel like we are just getting started.”
