Running cost efficiency drives hand drier launch

Airdri has developed a jet drier to meet market demand for fast hand drying with low power consumption, low noise output and reliability in operation to drive down running costs. The Quantum jet drier is the latest in Airdri's hand drier range.

The Quantum runs on only 200 watts to produce a high-powered fast drying experience. By comparison, most jet driers require 1000 watts or more to run at full power. More uniquely the Airdri Quantum has been designed with a universal voltage of 100v-240v making it immediately suitable for almost any installation in any location.

Group head of drier sales and marketing projects, Trudi Osborne, said: “Developing hand driers that are inclusive to everyone is a leading Airdri design policy. The young, elderly, those who are hard of hearing, or who are on the autistic spectrum can find the noise emitted by some hand driers very distressing and off-putting, so we've made sure that the Quantum has one of the lowest noise levels in its class while still maintaining its exceptional performance. In addition to considering its sound level we have also ensured that the drier complies with the ADA disability requirements making it ideal for disabled facilities and washrooms limited in space. It really is a jet drier for everyone.”

The requirement for high performance combined with ethical requirements such as inclusivity and environmental integrity is a growing trend among building owners and washroom managers. The Airdri Quantum is designed to deliver on all levels without sacrificing its fast-drying performance. It takes on average just 13 seconds to dry hands.

The Quantum also has the additional benefits of an impressive lifespan, a three-year warranty, and is UL, GreenSpec, Quiet Mark, RoHS, and CE approved.
