Regent Cleaning acquires Exclusive Support Services

Regent Cleaning has expanded its market share and extended geographical reach following its acquisition of Exclusive Support Services.
Founded in 1994, Birmingham-based Exclusive Support Services, which also has offices in London, Harwich and Manchester, has increased its field of operation from general cleaning to include window cleaning, industrial cleaning, washroom hygiene services, vending service and janitorial supplies.
The deal boosts staffing levels to 4500 and sales turnover to £26 million at Regent, itself acquired in 2008 by France’s second largest cleaning company, 1.3 billion Euro turnover Samsic Group.
“Our integration into Samsic opens the door for us to pitch for pan- European contracts, broaden our service offer, and develop market share both organically and by acquisition,” said Regent sales and marketing director John Critchell. “Exclusive Support Services is a good fit with Regent, being an established provider to its local markets with a solid reputation. Its acquisition broadens our scope geographically and strategically provides us with a presence in the London marketplace.”
Exclusive Support Services managing director Alan Garrett will continue to manage the business, in conjunction with John Critchell and Regent operations director Jonathan King.
