Regent Samsic's cleaning division is basking in a golden glow after the Coventry-based national contractor had its approach to occupational safety and health recognised with the presentation of a gold award at the recent RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
Regent Cleaning's training and HR support officer, Mark Mahoney, collected the award at a ceremony held by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in Birmingham recently.
RoSPA awards manager, David Rawlins, emphasised how 'organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition'. He said: “Regent Cleaning has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award.”
Regent Cleaning's joint managing director, Jonathan King, said: “When we won the RoSPA silver award last year we said would be going for gold and we've done it. This award pays testimony to the focus made by all at Regent on looking after one another, and our customers.”
Regent Samsic's security division also picked up a gold award from RoSPA for occupational health and safety.
