Quartz and ProLogis team up to deliver ShD regional shows

Following the success of the three inaugural ShD regional shows last year, organiser Quartz has announced a strategic alliance with industrial developer ProLogis, under which the 2009 shows will be staged at ProLogis sites.
Launched under the umbrella of Quartz’s industry title ShD: Storage, Handling, Distribution, the regional exhibitions have been firmly established on the material handling industry’s calendar. Organiser Quartz has now forged a partnership with ProLogis, developer of industrial and distribution buildings in the UK and worldwide, which will see the 2009 shows staged at ProLogis Park Stoke, ProLogis Cabot Park in Bristol and ProLogis Park Heathrow.
“Our association with ProLogis provides us with the opportunity to utilise some of the most advanced warehouse and logistics facilities in the UK, all of which have excellent infrastructure links located close to major motorways,” said Rob Fisher, publishing and exhibitions director for Quartz.
The first event of 2009, ShD North, will be held at ProLogis Park Stoke on 22 April. This central location is under an hour’s drive from the central Birmingham conurbation and is easily accessible from
J15 of the M6 motorway. This will be followed by the ShD South West exhibition at ProLogis Cabot Park in Bristol on 17 June. Located just 10 miles from the M4/M5 interchange and close to Avonmouth and Royal Portbury Docks, ProLogis Cabot Park provides a superb location. The final show, ShD South, will be staged at ProLogis Park Heathrow - less than 2 miles from Heathrow Airport and close to the M4 and M25 - on 16 September.
