PSE promotes National Sanitary Qualification

Portable Sanitation Europe (PSE), the UK trade association for the sanitary industry, has launched the National Sanitation Qualification (NSQ) Scheme, claimed to be the only industry-specific health and safety training available to the UK portable sanitation industry.

“We are delighted to have introduced this new training scheme,” said Martin Murdoch, general secretary of Portable Sanitation Europe Ltd. “We are committed to improving and developing the sanitary industry and this qualification is the proof. The course has been independently accredited by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and the technical content has been checked and verified, which is fantastic. Make sure you are not missing out on vital knowledge, sign up today and start your training.”

Delivered via PSE's online training partner, Human Focus, the qualification is a web-based learning system and gives PSE members a way to effectively improve health and safety risk management and cut costs. There are four levels of qualifications and the foundation level is offered free through the PSE membership. The foundation course includes topics such as the servicing of portable sanitation units, basic first aid at work, PPE safety, manual handling, and the loading and unloading of portable toilets.
