Prochem announces 2011 training dates

Dates for industry-approved training for both newcomers to carpet cleaning as well as the seasoned professional looking for a refresher course have been released by Prochem Europe.

The company has been supplying the professional cleaning industry with training, cleaning solutions and machinery since 1974 and today operates a purpose built training academy, with lecture room and demonstration areas, on its 50,000 sq. ft production site at Chessington, Surrey.

For established cleaners looking to improve skills and learn more about products and methods, the one day carpet cleaning course is ideal, while one day upholstery courses and one day hard floor maintenance courses suit those wishing to add these to their existing service offer.

For newcomers to carpet cleaning, Prochem Europe’s two day carpet cleaning course provides all the advice needed for starting a cleaning business, together with hands-on practice in identifying fibres and carrying out professional surveys.

2011 dates include one day carpet cleaning courses on 22 February, 22 March, 10 May, 21 June, 12 July, 6 September, 11 October, 15 November, and 13 December.
Two day carpet cleaning courses are being held on 8-9 February, 5-6 April, 7-8 June, 27-28 September, and 1-2 November.

One day upholstery courses take place on 23 March, 11 May, 13 July, 7 September, and 16 November, while one day hard floor cleaning courses are scheduled for 29 March, 24 May, 5 July, 13 September, and 29 November.

Prochem courses often receive positive reviews. Anthony Nash of A+ Cleaning Services, Stroud, Gloucestershire, said: “I feel so much more confident since doing that course. I always test fibres and dyes now and feel I know exactly what I’m doing. Taking the training course has definitely had a real impact on my business. I am hoping to continue moving away from general cleaning to a more specialised and more lucrative carpet and upholstery cleaning service. The trainers were great and I absolutely recommend other carpet cleaners to do the course.”
