Perfect union for CCM and BDFM

A merger between 25-year old Contract Cleaning & Maintenance (London) Ltd (CCM) and BD Facilities Management (BDFM) has now completed following six months of integration. Together the businesses, which operate in London and the south east, have formed an £8 million operation with around 700 staff. Each company will remain trading under its original name and continue to provide services in its specialised sectors. A new London office, administration centre and stores for the combined operation has opened in Battersea.

Alastair Fox, CEO at CCM, said: “This is an ideal union. We both work for managing agents and have our individual specialist sector experience. BDFM needed to modernise and upgrade its systems, training and back room operations, which is one of our strengths. We wanted to join forces with a similar long established business with a focus on family business values, quality and service.”

Collectively the two operations have ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SAFE Contractor and Contractor Plus accreditations, Waste Broker and Waste Management Registration and are BICSc members.

The group works for many of the top managing agents and handles a long list of blue chip contracts including Nikon, Legal & General, The Portman Estate, Fulham Broadway shopping centre and Veolia Environmental Services. The group’s work includes daily office cleans and maintenance services for the financial services sector, business parks and individual offices, shopping centres and retail outlets.
