Ray Coffey has joined Nilfisk’s outdoor division as a strategic account manager. He started with GPL in 1996 driving a range of 13-15 tonne road sweepers and gully emptiers. He moved onto Jack Allen’s as a demonstration engineer covering the whole of the UK, demonstrating everything from compact sweepers to airport runway machines. Promotion to training officer and sales manager, covering the north of England, followed. He has worked for a number of sweeper companies in the past selling mainly to local authorities.
He said: “I am very excited to be working for Nilfisk at this opportune time - my new role represents a challenge in my road sweeping career. The Nilfisk City Ranger 2250 and City Ranger 3500 utility machines fit perfectly into the municipal market. I have already received very positive responses from customers that have resulted in demonstrations booked. I have built excellent relationships with my customers over the years; I still get a real sense of satisfaction when a demonstration goes well. Introducing new models into local authorities can be lengthy but the machines are excellent and Nilfisk is a well respected brand in the industry which provides first class support to its customers. I feel assured of success.”
