New dates confirmed for The Cleaning Show following government's 'road map' announcement

Following the Prime Minister's 'road map' announcement on Monday this week, the organiser of the Cleaning Show has taken the decision to move the 2021 show dates from 8-10 June to 2-4 November 2021. The event will take place at London's Excel as previously planned. This rescheduling removes any uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Highlights of this year's show remain unchanged and include:

· a highly-topical conference programme.

· the Cleaning and Support Services Association’s (CSSA) Innovation Showcase.

· a new, dedicated demonstration area.

· the return of the Window Cleaning World Cup.

· and the Cleaning Show Awards.

Stuart Dacre, Cleaning Show event director, said: "With the whole industry remaining eager to meet in person to discuss the critical role the industry has played in the fight against COVID-19, we are more dedicated than ever to bring innovation and best practices to maximise your business opportunities in the safest way possible. We are therefore delighted to be able to confirm the new dates hot on the heels of the government's 'road map' announcement. Between now and the show, please expect further announcements from us in about smaller networking events, industry celebrations and online webinars."

All existing exhibitor bookings and visitor registrations remain in place and will be transferred automatically to the new dates.

The popular Cleaning Show conference will address the big cleaning and hygiene issues and opportunities that could have an impact on the future of businesses and public sector organisations. Neil Nixon, Cleaning Show conference director, said: "The Cleaning Show 2021 conference programme will be a key highlight of the event and will provide a forum to present and discuss new developments, and consider the critical next steps for an industry that has placed itself on the frontline of public health and safety delivery. Topics to be discussed will include the new normal for cleaning post-COVID-19, technological developments including autonomous cleaning machines, hand hygiene post-COVID, and the role of testing in ensuring (and proving) a clean and safe environment...plus lots more."

The show will also be hosting the CSSA’s Innovation Showcase for the first time. It will celebrate the cleaning industry’s most innovative products, services and initiatives.

Attracting more than 7200 visitors, the London Cleaning Show is the UK’s largest cleaning and hygiene event. The biannual event is free to attend and features a wide range of national and international exhibitors as well as an exciting conference programme of talks by leading industry figures and experts.
