Devon Norse has been awarded two new cleaning contracts, jointly worth over £100,000. The agreement with Westward Housing covers communal areas cleaning for around 65 sites of the association's housing stock, including some sheltered and supported housing and offices.
Under a separate contract, Devon Norse will be providing cleaning services to the Forestry Commission site in Haldon Forest Park.
“We are delighted to be working with these two prestigious organisations,” said Devon Norse managing director, Ray Beale. “Norse is one of the leading suppliers to the social housing sector around the UK, with over £20 million annual revenue from a wide range of services, including communal area, void, window and office cleaning, grounds maintenance and building maintenance. We have policy of sourcing materials and equipment locally wherever possible, which generates additional benefit to suppliers in the area and keeps down our carbon miles in delivering the services.”
Devon Norse is part of Norse Commercial Services, a national total facilities management organisation with an annual turnover in excess of £150 million and providing employment for over 8500 people across the country.
