In order to get a handle on hotel OPL consumption costs on an ongoing basis, Miele Professional is offering integrated data capture on modern washer-extractors and tumble dryers. The display on machines with Profitronic M controls provides information, for instance, on current water consumption and laundry loads as well as on energy and detergent consumption. Data from up to 300 cycles can be saved using a special operating data module and, where necessary, ported to a computer for further processing.
This meets all the requirements of a modern quality management system. Exploiting optimisation potential results in more efficient reprocessing of laundry and, over the long haul, significantly reduces costs. Programme data can be relayed to a computer via a serial interface for storage. There, the information can be presented in table form using a computer programme developed in conjunction with a software specialist. The data from washing and drying cycles can, alternatively, also be printed out as protocols for archiving.
Furthermore, Miele's sales team offers computer-based feasibility studies as a special service to clients. This puts laundry operators in an even better position to analyse costs and keep a check on expenditure.
Miele has a range of suitable washer-extractors aimed specifically at the hotel industry, with capacities from 10-20kg, featuring the Profitronic M settings required to not only improve the efficiency but offering 199 different programme slots suitable for a wide range of applications.
