Max Holder GmbH, manufacturer of compact, multi-functional municipal and viticulture vehicles, has been successfully acquired by Kärcher. Holder will continue as an independent subsidiary of Kärcher at its existing head office in Reutlingen, Germany, and will extend Kärcher’s product development, manufacturing of municipal vehicles and help to generate long-term growth in the sector.
Holder has an existing worldwide distribution network with more than 250 sales and service partners in more than 50 countries and a dedicated office for Canada and the USA to support the dealer network.
The combined expertise and experience of both brands will strengthen Kärcher’s competence in municipal vehicles. Andy Meale, head of sales (municipal) at Kärcher UK, said: "Max Holder has been a leading manufacturer of articulated tractors since 1888, and the UK team is looking forward to introducing this high quality and versatile range of implement carriers to its UK customers.
