ISSA 'on course'

It was a day of success at the inaugural ISSA UK Cleaning Industry Golf Day which was held recently at the Toft Golf Club in Lincolnshire. ISSA hosted a sociable day of golf for its members including firms such as Truvox, Vectair, Chemex, Greyland, Numatic, Radal Technology and SRS Clean. The line-up was completed by players from the CHSA council, CPD and ex-council member, Colin Haynes.

The day consisted of two competitions, with a Texas scramble in the morning which was won by Gordon McVean of Truvox, his guest Karl Nilchibar of Amtech and ISSA director of European services, Keith Baker. The Stableford round in the afternoon saw an extremely close game with independent financial advisor, Calum Cameron triumphing in first place with 38 points. Following very closely in second place was Alan Nottley of Numatic with 37 points and Greyland’s Phil Wilkinson being nearest the pin.

Director of European services for ISSA, Keith Baker, said: “The day was a great success with representation from a number of long-standing and new ISSA members.”
ISSA is now looking forward to hosting its second UK Golf Day next year. Anyone interested in playing should email: [email protected].
