Integral has launched a new division dedicated to protecting people and the environment they live and work in. Integral Environmental Services provides a comprehensive solution to help property managers comply with current regulations and codes of practice for the two most basic environmental requirements - clean, fresh air and water.
The new division - encompassing consultancy, water hygiene, water treatment, air services and pre-commission cleaning - has been formed to provide a total air and water solution for clients.
Stephen Preston, national operations manager for the new division, has over 25 years practical experience in the water treatment and environmental services industry. He said: “Maintaining a building’s air and water systems is a complex business which can have devastating consequences if not carried out correctly. For instance, the deadly Legionella disease is an ever-present risk in water systems which are not properly maintained and similarly a building’s air quality needs to be properly monitored to ensure it meets stringent environmental regulations. Integral Environmental Services is structured and resourced to take the stress out of maintaining air and water systems, thereby protecting people and their working and living environment, through one-off surveys to fully comprehensive service packages.”
Bryan Glastonbury, Integral’s managing director, said: “This new division is an important part of our drive to offer clients a complete one-stop-shop for all their building maintenance requirements. At a time when many competitors are cutting back we are committed to expanding our business and range of services which helps to maintain our market-leading client-retention rates, currently running at 87%.”
