Independent best-practice benchmarking specialist i-Clean has expanded its efficiency reviews to include waste management to meet the broader needs of its customer base. The service offers best-practice expertise and support to help facilities and estates managers move their organisation higher up the waste hierarchy, from zero tolerance to landfill through to making waste an asset of their business.
Paul Taylor, who will head-up the department, said: “Waste is too often an overlooked and undervalued resource when in fact, a good sustainable waste management plan can make any organisation significant savings, and greatly enhance their green-credentials.”
Mike Boxall, i-Clean managing director, added: “We see waste as a natural fit to our reviews. We already follow waste through an organisation to the back-door. It makes perfect sense to take this several steps further, ensuring organisations are meeting their legal obligations and minimising, reusing, recycling, and reselling as much of their waste as possible.”
To mark the waste management launch, i-Clean is offering free initial assessments to all sectors.
