Rubbermaid Commercial Products has been awarded a Cleaning System Standards Certificate of Accreditation from the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) for its new HYGEN Clean Water System.
The BICSc accreditation scheme is designed to provide the industry with an independent assurance of field-tested excellence. The Rubbermaid HYGEN Clean Water System was submitted to the Institute and thorough trials were performed to test the reliability, efficiency and safety of the system, in its intended environment. The resulting Field Trials Outcome Report verified that the Rubbermaid HYGEN Clean Water System is a faster, cleaner and more cost-effective solution for clean floors than a conventional cotton mop and bucket.
Stan Atkins, chief executive officer at BICSc, said: “Part of our mission at the Institute is to protect the safety of the built environment by ensuring that equipment and systems used for cleaning are safe and effective for the users, and for the occupants of the buildings being cleaned. Our accreditation scheme was introduced to recognise systems that offer true innovation to the cleaning industry, something that in my opinion as an industry veteran, is an ever-more exclusive category.”
The Rubbermaid HYGEN Clean Water System features an integrated water filter that generates cleaner water, cleaner mops and cleaner floors.
