Harrison Wipes celebrates long service

Martin Colechin retired from Harrison Wipes at the end of March after 47 years service at the family owned company, which in turn is celebrating 125 years in business this year. His departure was marked with a celebration at the firm, attended by his family and some of his former colleagues, as well as current employees and the management team.

“Martin joined us in 1969, working in the warehouse, loading and unloading pallets of finished goods into lorries,” said Stephen Harrison, managing director of Harrison Wipes. “From that day to this his service to the company has been exceptional and we are extremely grateful for his contribution. His steadfast commitment to customers and hard-working attitude have been an example to us all. We wish him every happiness in his retirement, and look forward to welcoming him back to the business on visits.”

During his 47 years at Harrison Wipes. Martin Colechin's career developed and he left the business as office manager, overseeing orders and ensuring customer needs were met.
