Greyland delivery lorries travelling up and down the country are fast becoming a common sight on the roads, with most deliveries being accomplished within four days from order - and with the ‘next day’ service becoming increasingly popular, it seems that the lorries are always on the road. As the company goes from strength to strength, two more vehicles, making five in all, have now joined Greyland’s existing fleet.
It appears that distributors have come to appreciate that tying up much-needed cash in cleaning chemicals doesn’t make economic sense, and that if your chemical manufacturer can provide good quality products and also store them for you until needed, that’s one of the easier ways forward to help trade out of the recession.
Most customers come on board and stay because it makes sense to. For the same reason, Greyland has stayed with its transport provider, BC Transport, for the past 10 years.
“We have never had a problem with the service provided by BC Transport and by contracting out may confidently invest in what we do best - which is manufacturing cleaning chemicals,” said Richard Dyson, managing director of Greyland.
Chris Goodwin, managing director of BC Transport, said: “10 years is a long time, especially these days when everyone seems to be looking for a quick saving. But by delivering on promises and not letting anyone down we have not only retained but grown this valuable business as they in turn have grown over the years.”
Greyland products are available through a selected list of trade distributors throughout the country, and new distributor enquiries are always welcome.
