Diamond Facilities Support has been awarded a national contract with Pure Gym, one of the UK’s fastest emerging alternative fitness concepts. Pure Gym has 29 club outlets across the UK, which is set to rise to 42 before the end of the year, with further expansion expected in 2013 and beyond.
Diamond has been appointed to provide a full 24/7 FM helpdesk, reactive maintenance (fabric and M&E), planned maintenance (fabric and M&E), quoted works and management of nominated specialist suppliers.
Adam Atkins, director, Diamond Facilities Support, said: “The Pure Gym contract is a magnificent achievement for our business; we have been able to demonstrate our key competencies within the leisure sector, through our work with other fitness giants having large property portfolios. This contract reinforces the position we hold within the UK leisure FM services marketplace and is a great example of two young, innovative and dynamic businesses working and winning together, despite the challenging economic climate.”
Brian Scurrah, development director, Pure Gym Ltd, said: “With our current expansion plans, it was critical that we found a partner that could deal with both our roll out plans, current estate and the 24/7 operation of our business, we strongly believe minimum down time for any issues that should arise, so that our customer experience has as little or no disruption.”
