The 57 finalists will now go through to the next stage of judging which for most categories includes a site visit by a BICSc judge. The judges are looking for innovation, staff training, and client relationships as the main criteria to be assessed.

Stan Atkins, chief executive officer at BICSc, said: “Congratulations to all finalists. The standard of entries was exceptionally high with evidence of clear innovations and achievements across the industry. The judges look forward to meeting the finalists at the site visits, and it is important to stress that they will be judging standards achieved and not just whether the entry specifications are followed.”

The winners will be announced at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Thursday 8 March 2018. Over 500 guests including finalists and sponsors are expected to come together to celebrate the latest achievements of the UK’s cleaning and FM industry.
