Excellerate Services acquires CCM Facilities

Excellerate Services has announced the acquisition of CCM Facilities Ltd, a national contract cleaning specialist. The acquisition combines two, likeminded, value focussed businesses now with an annual turnover of £45 million, employing approximately 2500 people and operating in 700 locations.

Both companies - CCM founded in 1990 by Alastair Fox to deliver bespoke cleaning and facilities solutions in an ethical and sustainable way, and Excellerate Services UK, whose parent company, Excellerate, is a major African property services company operating extensively across sub-Saharan territories - are committed to implementing Excellerate’s technology platforms, as well as integrating extensive intellectual property, to deliver a more tech based, transparent and efficient cleaning service to its clients.

Alastair Fox said: ”I am immensely proud of the team and reputation we have built over the decades, and feel certain that this next chapter in the CCM story will lead to further opportunity for success. We look forward to a bright future as part of the Excellerate family.”

Keith French, Excellerate Services CEO, said: “This acquisition is a key part of our growth strategy and represents a great opportunity to continue adding value to our customers. We are very excited about the future service potential - we bring scale, technology and innovation, CCM brings an extensive client list, and cleaning expertise, plus we both have a reputation for great customer service. The sharing of best practice will drive an even better service for our clients, and the enlarged group creates unparalleled opportunities for our colleagues to grow.”
