Shaun Bradbury, Lancashire based managing director of Dry Fusion UK Ltd, has been appointed as European director to the Low Moisture Carpet Cleaners Association (LMCCA).
Founded in the United States in 2001, the LMCCA is a non profit trade organisation whose main goal is to increase awareness and knowledge of low moisture carpet cleaning methodologies. The LMCCA works to promote the viability of low-moisture carpet cleaning systems, used by professional carpet cleaning technicians in order to provide the best possible carpet cleaning system. The association is resolute in its appreciation of low moisture cleaning methods for a number of reasons:
quicker drying; improved water conservation; less contaminated waste water; and less chance of soil wick-up.
With nearly 25 years experience in flooring, carpets and carpet care, Shaun Bradbury has used his extensive knowledge and skill to build a business domain that leads the flooring and carpet care industries in more ways than one.
From the age of 15, Bradbury set up his own domestic and commercial carpet cleaning company, utilising both wet and dry cleaning systems. However this was only the beginning of the story for Bradbury as he steadily built up far-reaching UK and global business relationships. Such industrious networking would see him eventually strike up a partnership with an Australian organisation called Dry Fusion and it was this alliance that would really change how carpets were cleaned here in the UK.
Lonnie McDonald, executive director, LMCCA explained why the association approached Bradbury to take on the European Directorship: “Through agreeing to bring the Dry Fusion franchise to the UK and Europe, Shaun took what was a little known dry carpet cleaning system from obscurity to brand leader in less than six years. Woolsafe approved, with over 1000 UK-based ‘fusioneers’ delivering a high quality service, Dry Fusion UK boasts a string of clients with impressive household names such as the Bank of England, Heathrow Airport and Longleat House. With such tenacity and dedication to the cause of low moisture cleaning, we knew that Shaun was the right man to raise awareness of the LMCCA’s mission and create a wider network throughout the UK and Europe. We are delighted to be working with him.”
Shaun Bradbury added: “I am thrilled to be joining this innovative and determined, yet inherently fair organisation. Its clear vision for the future is refreshingly honest and sincere and although it quite rightly hails the many benefits of low moisture cleaning, it in no way ‘runs down’ the other cleaning systems out there. The association’s membership can be confident in its guidance and advice and I am excited to be working with Lonnie and his management team in raising the LMCCA’s profile both here in the UK and throughout Europe.”
