Digging deep for Children in Need

Dragon’s Den star Duncan Bannatyne has teamed up with UK?Commercial Cleaning to dig deep for sick and hospitalised children across the UK. The entrepreneur, who invested in the company during the latest series of Dragons Den, took part in the week-long redevelopment of Middle Park Community Centre in South London.

All five Dragons donated their time and expertise to help redesign, rebuild and renovate the centre as part of the Dragons’ Den Special for BBC’s national charity drive, Children in Need, aired on 20 November.

Duncan Bannatyne was joined by UK Commercial Cleaning’s managing director Tony Earnshaw and sales manager Steve Pearsons in cleaning the building site. They helped to jet-wash a tarmac football pitch, and provided a general builders clean, a specialised kitchen clean and a sparkle clean to leave the community centre gleaming.

Tony Earnshaw said: “This project has enabled us to help out so many disadvantaged children and give back something to the community. We are fortunate enough to have been given this opportunity and work with some great people to put a smile on the faces of children.”
