Cutting costs without cutting quality

bpi.healthcare, a division of British Polythene Industries plc, has launched a new range of products aimed specifically at private healthcare companies and contractors.

The Contractor range - which includes clinical waste sacks, refuse bags and disposable aprons - is manufactured using a blend of polymers that ensures high strength and at a low cost.

Lorcan Mekitarian, sales director at bpi.healthcare, said: “Today’s private healthcare provider is faced with a double edged challenge. On the one hand they want to deliver a superior level of service whilst on the other there’s an obvious and unavoidable commercial need to protect margins. Cost effective yet still highly reliable products can play a part in this and that’s why we’ve developed a new range that’s ideal for those companies running private hospitals or care homes, sub- contracting for NHS trusts or acting as facility management providers to the NHS. bpi.healthcare already has a long track record of meeting the needs of the NHS and our new Contractor range is a natural extension of that. It draws on the same expertise and understanding to offer fit for purpose solutions that comply with all relevant UK and UN regulations.”
