Cleaning Show 2015 - London Calling

Potential visitors to the 2015 Cleaning Show - both UK-based and from mainland Europe - have described the event's move to London as 'inspired' and 'long-overdue'. Following surveys and a series of discussions, the decision to move to London was made, strongly supported by those that see the event as a crucial shop window.

“The cleaning industry is extremely positive about the Cleaning Show's move to London,” said Doug Cooke, chairman of the British Cleaning Council. “Having spent time at this year's event in Birmingham, the overwhelming feedback I received from both exhibitors and visitors was that relocating to London's Excel was very welcome. Enhanced by the London Olympics, Excel now enjoys excellent transport links, making it easily accessible from all parts of the UK and Europe. This will undoubtedly appeal to visitors - domestic and international – surely the most important group when planning any event, and the reason businesses invest in exhibiting.”

The Cleaning Show 2015 takes place from 10-12 March 2015 at London's Excel Exhibition Centre, a venue that is extremely well served by all forms of transport, and that is surrounded by a host of hotels to suit all budgets.

Doug Cooke continued: “London is recognised as one of the world's most important financial, cultural and business centres, and is therefore a fitting host for the next Cleaning Show – elevating the profile of our industry at a critical time. The major contract cleaning businesses operating in London, together with key government departments and public sector organisations, have already confirmed London is their preferred venue. For that reason, I am confident our visitor profile will reflect the show's proximity to the UK's business hub, and sincerely hope that major cleaning businesses – Karcher, Kimberly-Clark Professional and Diversey as examples – will seize the opportunity to reach a first-class audience by exhibiting at the event.”

Cooke concluded: “Birmingham has served the Cleaning Show well, but visitors have been very vocal for a number of years, calling for the move to London. The result will, I am sure, be the best UK-based Cleaning Show to date.”
