Preston based Specialised Cleaning Services has been shortlisted as 'Small business of the year' at this year's Red Rose Awards. Family run business Specialised Cleaning Services launched in 2005 with just a handful of domestic cleaning contracts in the Preston area. The small business now operates right across the north west with a team of 20 staff and 10 vans and offers the full spectrum of specialist cleaning services to a range of businesses, housing associations, and police forces. Being shortlisted as a finalist for this award is recognition of the growth and reputation that Specialised Cleaning Services has achieved.
The company's owner, Sarah Southworth, said: “To be shortlisted for the Red Rose Award for 'Small business of the year' award is an honour. To be a finalist in this category with the other high calibre businesses is a real achievement for me and my team and is testament to what can be achieved with drive and a passion for what we all do.”
The Red Rose Awards, launched by Lancashire Business View magazine in 2011, have grown in size year on year and this year has 20 awards up for grabs in various sector and business size categories across Lancashire. The winners of the Red Rose awards will be announced on Thursday 13 March at Blackpool's Winter Gardens.
