Balfour Beatty Workplace joins CSSA

The Cleaning and Support Services Association has welcomed Balfour Beatty Workplace as a member of the association.

CSSA chief executive, Andrew Large, said: “The CSSA is delighted that Balfour Beatty Workplace has decided to join the association. We welcome them and look forward to working closely with them to promote our shared aim of a highly professional cleaning and support service industry.”

Lawrence Beckett, Balfour Beatty Workplace director of cleaning services, added: “Cleaning services is by no means a new venture for ourselves as Balfour Beatty WorkPlace already deliver cleaning nationwide in excess of £75 million per annum, over 90% of which we self deliver. We currently operate in healthcare, education, business and industry and are a national provider in every sense of the word covering the length and breadth of the UK through the Romec joint venture. In keeping with our group objectives, we aim to position ourselves as a leader in the use of sustainable business practices and to be a role model for the rest of the cleaning industry. Being part of the CSSA can only assist ourselves in achieving these objectives and we are keen to take a lead on such matters.”
