Atkins Gregory has acquired GCS Cleaning Ltd, less than two years after acquiring local company Spring Clean.
Atkins Gregory chairman, Greg Gregory, said: “Atkins Gregory has taken over the share capital of GCS Cleaning. It was a friendly takeover, indeed the directors are joining Atkins Gregory as consultants. We are all very excited about the move as our continued growth benefits local business and employment. Atkins Gregory sees this as a demonstration of its positive attitude in continuing to expand the business and provide work for local people.”
GCS Cleaning Ltd has been operating successfully in the St Ives and Huntingdon area for over 25 years employing over 50 staff. Tony Copson said: “After 25 years Sara and I feel it is time to take things a little easier. We have made some very good friends over the years and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff and customers for their loyalty and support in the past. We feel confident that the team at Atkins Gregory will look after our customers and staff extremely well and we wish them every success in the future.”
As part of this acquisition Atkins Gregory will take on all GCS staff as well as all existing contracts.
