Some of the leading names in the facilities world are the driving minds behind a major new force in training and development for the FM, property and construction sector. John Davis, Michael Fryer, Oliver Jones, Matthew Punshon and Martin Pickard all have established reputations built upon an enviable track record in industry leading service delivery. They have now joined forces to create The Asset Faculty, a new joint venture that aims to raise the bar for performance in the property management sector.
The Asset Faculty has been established to meet the demand from the sector for the professional management of outsourced training and development. Jones, who chairs The Asset Faculty board, said: "One of the biggest challenges faced by the property and facilities sector lies in achieving consistent levels of performance at the point of delivery. By developing, managing and delivering a personal and professional development strategy for all of our clients’ service activity The Asset Faculty will resolve that problem."
As well as creating and managing clients’ own academies, The Asset Faculty is providing in-house training to a number of blue chip organisations. Many of these courses are bespoke solutions designed to meet specific client needs while others are drawn from an extensive portfolio of standard courses. Open courses are also offered in a range of management and safety topics including all of FM Gurus courses and the highly successful FM Masterclass series. Managing director Martin Pickard said: "Over eight years of running the FM Masterclasses our delegates have told us that these are the most effective FM courses they have ever experienced. Through The Asset Faculty we aim to give many more people the chance to benefit from the best training available in the FM marketplace."
