14forty clinches major long-term extension with Wavin

14forty has secured a new three-year contract extension with Wavin - the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic drainage and piping solutions. The announcement takes 14forty’s relationship with one of their longest-held clients to 12 years in total and was won through a competitive tender process, reinforcing 14forty’s position as a trusted partner.

The agreement includes catering, vending, cleaning, security and hospitality services at the organisation’s Doncaster and Chippenham sites. A new on-site café has also been introduced at the Doncaster site, enhancing the workplace experience for employees.

Bally Purewal, Key Account Director at 14forty, said: “This is an important and exciting contract win - and testament to the outstanding relationship we have built with Wavin over so many years. To retain the contract through such a competitive process speaks volumes about the consistency, quality and innovation our teams deliver every day. We’re proud to work with a client whose values align so closely with our own and we’re excited to continue building on that success together.

Scott Millard, Operations Manager for Wavin, said: “We have a long history together and have confidence in 14forty and the people in their team, so we’re delighted to agree this extension. Having a single supplier delivering multiple services is a major advantage, it simplifies management, improves flexibility and ensures a more unified approach across our sites.”

Donna Arrowsmith, Site Services Support Manager for 14forty has been a driving force behind the success of the partnership at Wavin’s Doncaster site, where she has built her career over several years. Starting on site in a cleaning role, Donna has progressed through a variety of positions to become a key leader, developing deep operational knowledge and strong relationships across the business. She said: “Wavin is a fantastic place to work, the people really make it. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand how strong partnerships and teamwork create a positive environment for everyone on site and I’m incredibly proud to be part of a team that feels like a true extension of Wavin.”

Mark Conroy, Territory Buyer, UK and Ireland at Wavin, picked out a focus on sustainability as another deal clincher. He said: “Sustainability is important to us and a big part of the procurement process. We use a partner to score our vendors in this field and we are always looking to work with suppliers who are developing their sustainability offer. 14forty continues to demonstrate strong commitment in this space, making them a great fit. They help to support recycling innovation and food waste reduction on site, for instance. It’s a key part of the partnership.”
