The Nilfisk UK field sales team is looking stronger than ever and is reporting record figures for 2013. A great start to the year that celebrates the company's 107th birthday.
Nilfisk-Advance in the UK serves two distinct customer sectors, commercial and Industrial, with a sales team providing regional support in both areas. A team of national account managers take care of strategic account customers nationwide. This team concentrates on national accounts in specific sectors including contract cleaners, materials handling and municipalities. The entire UK team is supported by a logistics department that coordinates demonstrations and site surveys nationwide.
Collectively the Nilfisk sales team claims to be larger than any other in the UK. From Lands End to John O'Groats there is an experienced Nilfisk sales person to provide dedicated service and support irrespective of the application or nature of the customer.
The current success is due in no small part to the 'closer to market' initiative that has seen stocks of fast moving machines, spare parts and accessories held in the UK. This development was driven by a real desire to react to the demands of the customer base for a faster flow of key products.
Nilfisk UK recently exhibited at the Cleaning Show and enjoyed a record event. Leigh Mason, sales director, said: “Our stand was incredibly busy. I am delighted to report that we took over 150 leads across the three days. We also enjoyed being visited by many existing clients who came to meet the team who support them. A definite success.”
