The company maintains a robust presence in the UK market, offering cutting-edge cleaning technologies alongside outstanding customer service.

Kärcher offers an extensive range of professional cleaning equipment, designed to address the varied cleaning requirements of sectors such as agriculture, automotive, construction, healthcare, hospitality, industry, public services, retail, and transport logistics.

Beyond our product range, Kärcher UK also offers a variety of professional services. These include Kärcher Hire, which provides flexible rental options for the latest cleaning equipment, and Kärcher Lease, a comprehensive and financing solutions service. We also offer Kärcher Used, giving customers access to pre-owned, but high-quality reconditioned machines accompanied by full-service support. Lastly, with Kärcher Service, we deliver multi-brand support throughout the operational life of our equipment.

What sets Kärcher apart from its competitors?

Kärcher sets itself apart from the competition in five key ways. Firstly, our commitment to innovative technology is at the heart of what we do. By committing resources to research and development in advancements such as tact filters, eco!efficiency modes, high-pressure systems, and IoT solutions, Kärcher continues to evolve and improve.

Secondly, we offer an extensive product range. From pressure washers and floor scrubbers to specialised industrial solutions and municipal vehicles, Kärcher is the all-solutions cleaning provider.

Thirdly, our exceptional after-sales service is second to none. Through Kärcher Service, Kärcher Academy, and flexible options for hire and leasing, we ensure customers can utilise the full capabilities of their equipment throughout its long lifespan.

Additionally, sustainability is highly regarded amongst our leadership. We prioritise low consumption, minimised emissions, and environmentally friendly practices.

Lastly, there is our brand reputation and global reach. Kärcher is regarded as a trusted brand both within the UK and worldwide with our presence and involvement in the cleaning of iconic landmarks showcasing not only our exceptional equipment, but also our involvement in giving back on a global scale.

Focused on areas from pressure washers, vacuum cleaners and sweepers to scrubber dryers, municipal equipment, and cleaning robots, how do you continue to innovate across such diverse sectors?

Kärcher promotes innovation across multiple sectors by maintaining close relationships with its customers, investing in advanced technologies, and leveraging its global expertise to deliver tailored, effective, and sustainable cleaning solutions.

With headquarters in Germany, how focused can you be on the specific needs of the UK market? How important is support from Germany in delivering premium products to the UK?

Kärcher's headquarters in Germany offers the technological foundation and uniformity across the globe, while the team in the UK focuses on being responsive to local needs and bringing in market-specific knowledge. This combined strategy enables Kärcher to provide top-notch, relevant, and high-performance cleaning solutions that cater to the changing demands of customers in the UK.

Innovation across each of your sectors is key to your continued success. How has your quest for and delivery of innovative solutions supported the objectives of both you and your customers?

Kärcher's commitment to innovative solutions has been essential in achieving the objectives of the company and its customers. An example of this can be seen in the development of the Kärcher Puzzi, the first-ever all-in-one vacuum cleaner and wet cleaning system. The development of groundbreaking products demonstrates Kärcher’s innovative capabilities. Moreover, Kärcher's focus on sustainability has allowed clients to reach their environmental goals, such as decreasing water consumption and minimising waste.

What role do your ESG initiatives play in offering a sustainable offering to your customers?

ESG initiatives are crucial in developing our sustainable offerings for customers. These efforts aim to minimise environmental impact, promote well-being, and guarantee transparent and responsible corporate governance. Ultimately, they provide customers with products and services that resonate with their sustainability values and help create a more sustainable future.

Kärcher is deeply committed to reducing plastic usage and incorporating sustainable raw materials in both our products and packaging. A visit to our headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire, reveals that our dedication to sustainability extends beyond just our products; it is a vital aspect of our daily operations. For example, we have installed over 900 solar panels on our roof, generating 40-60% of our energy needs. Furthermore, we utilise HVO fuel in our HGV and demo vans, as well as having EV charging points available for employees with electric vehicles. We also actively monitor our building's temperature and air quality, and recycle our waste. Those are just a few of the initiatives that Kärcher UK have implemented to reach our ESG goals.

How does technology – and particularly the development of robotic solutions - serve to strengthen your offering?

The progress of robotic solutions significantly improves Kärcher's product range in various aspects. Robotic cleaning solutions allow for increased efficiency as repetitive tasks are automated, enabling our customers to focus on more complex duties. They also deliver enhanced cleaning quality, thanks to advanced navigation systems and customisable cleaning options, which ensure consistent and precise cleaning results. Robotic solutions also contribute to a better customer experience as users are able to monitor and control the robots remotely, providing customers with greater flexibility and peace of mind.

As a major exhibitor at the recent Cleaning Show in London, can you outline why this event is so important to the cleaning sector? What do you seek to achieve in attending?

The Cleaning Show is vital for the cleaning sector, acting as a hub for innovation, networking, and education. For Kärcher, it signifies a strategic imperative to demonstrate leadership, engage with stakeholders, and foster business growth.

To finish, can you give us a peek into what the future might hold for Kärcher Professional in the UK?

Kärcher Professional has a promising future in the UK. I recently joined the company, taking on this position in February 2025. My goal is to improve our sales strategy by leveraging my background in industrial distribution and technical sales to expand our customer reach into new sectors and strengthen Kärcher's reputation as a leader in the cleaning industry.
