The 2026 awards see us back at Whittlebury Hall following a fabulous event in September 2025. So, what are the awards all about?
For over 60 years, BICSc has been celebrating the achievements of people within the industry – initially it was a formal dinner until the 90s when it became more elaborate, and then eventually it evolved into the glittering ceremony that the industry now looks forward to each year.
In 2026, we will once again be celebrating the heroes of the cleaning industry, from the corporate members to the amazing cleaning operatives. It wouldn’t be an awards show without the nominations for the awards themselves. The nominations will open in March 2026, and there will be a frenetic frenzy of applications until we finally close.
Once the applications have been checked against the application criteria, we then have the unenviable task of judging and shortlisting until we have the finalists and the overall winners.
So why do we need sponsors?
The awards cost a great sum of money each year to create a spectacular event, and as a not-for-profit organisation, we only ever want to break even. It is the generosity of our sponsors that plays the biggest part in making the event happen; without them, we simply wouldn’t be able to go ahead with the event.
