Rentokil Specialist Hygiene has announced the launch of ‘Restore24’, a rapid response, expert disinfection service, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is crucial that potentially hazardous situations are dealt with promptly, expertly and with understanding and compassion. The Restore24 service will offer standardised pricing, offering transparency and consistency to those that are affected by emotionally charged situations, so they can be confident that the clean-up site will be quoted properly.

Luke Rutterford, technical manager at Rentokil Specialist Hygiene, said: “Accidents that require specialist cleaners can happen anywhere, and at any time of the day. Many of the locations that we clean can involve horrific scenes, and the clean-up of hazardous waste. Our technicians operate a fast and efficient service, returning sites back to a safe environment as quickly as possible. Our experts work with professionalism and compassion, and we equip our entire workforce with the knowledge and training required for the safe removal of materials and waste after a traumatic event. This means that customers can have total peace of mind that their premises will be returned back to their original state.”

There are four main components to the Restore 24 package:

• Expert service: Customers can be confident that Rentokil Specialist Hygiene’s workforce is fully trained, with the right knowledge to deal with different trauma scenes. Moreover, these specialist technicians will operate on an emergency call out rota, and can travel to a site anywhere within the UK immediately.
• Waste disposal: Serious accidents and crime scenes can produce potentially hazardous waste, which includes blood and other bodily fluids. Specialist technicians will need to conduct a thorough risk assessment before starting any work, categorise any waste and make sure that the materials are properly disposed of.
• Ultra Low Volume Fogging: ULV fogging is used alongside manual cleaning to offer complete protection against harmful bacteria and viruses to the wider area. The disinfectant service delivers a thin fog or mist, and is very effective in combating pathogens because it kills airborne bacteria and viruses as well as those on surfaces.
• Fogging with CleanScent technology: The final part of any Restore24 package is a fogging service that is also able to distribute a scent, ensuring that your premises not only is clean, but also smells clean. Rentokil Specialist Hygiene has a range of fragrances on offer, including cherry blossom and citrus smells.
