As a manager and operator of premier data centres across Europe and Asia-Pacific and a trusted data centre solutions provider, Keppel DC REIT was thorough in its assessment and identification of the best partner to manage its Irish data centre maintenance and ensure operational excellence. This underscores the vital role that operational and maintenance practices play in ensuring the optimal performance of mission critical IT equipment. CBRE Data Centre Solutions impressed Keppel through a competitive tender process.
Tommy Fitzpatrick, CBRE Data Centre Solutions' business unit director, said: “Maintaining critical environments like data centres is a far more complex and challenging task than traditional facilities maintenance. CBRE Data Centre Solutions provides clients with subject matter experts to guide each aspect of the data centre lifecycle from acquisition, to build, lease, maintenance, and disposal. Using bespoke data centre and critical environment systems, such as CERMView, we are able to provide clients with greater visibility of the ways in which we manage and minimise risks. The ultimate goal is to make clients' sites more reliable, attractive and valuable in the market place. We are delighted to start our relationship with Keppel DC REIT here in Ireland, and look forward to developing a full service offering both here and across the global portfolio.”
