Integral acquires M&E division of OCS Engineering

Property maintenance and support services companies Integral UK and OCS Group have announced Integral’s acquisition of the M&E division of OCS Engineering.

OCS’ partnering arrangement is designed to ensure that its service activities focus on current customer need. The 70 staff working for the £15 million OCS business based in Clapham will transfer to Integral’s 2500 workforce which includes Britain’s largest mobile maintenance fleet. The transfer will benefit Integral’s operations in London and the South East whilst giving OCS access to Integral’s nationwide coverage.

OCS chief executive, Chris Cracknell, said: “We work with a number of partners on joint solutions for our clients and it became clear that both OCS and Integral customers would benefit from transferring our non-core M&E operations to fill a gap in Integral’s resource map. Staff will transfer, including senior management, whose skills and commitment have established them as a force within the industry. We have assured our customers that their service will continue successfully and without interruption.”

Bryan Glastonbury, managing director of Integral UK, said: “We are confident that Integral will provide the M&E division with the opportunity to develop its full potential. This is a real `win-win’ agreement for both companies. There is great demand for Integral to grow its M&E resource in London and the South East and OCS can strengthen the partnering arrangements through which it can offer M&E services across the UK.”
