Carex launches professional range

Carex is building on its domestic success by launching a professional range. The Carex Professional range will consist of two variants, which come in two different sizes providing businesses with products to suit their specific needs.

The collection comprises Carex Professional Original, the brand's number one variant, and Carex Professional Bacteria Protect, which has been specially developed for enhanced protection while maintaining its moisturising quality.

For smaller institutions such as offices, restaurants and other professional and retail environments, the 500ml pump pack is a practical and inexpensive substitute for a wall dispenser. The five litre bottles, used to fill wall-mounted hand wash dispensers, are typically for use in larger establishments such as schools, retail outlets and public toilets with greater volumes of footfall.

Carex, which currently enjoys sales of £46.3 million per year and owns a 33.5% share of the liquid soap market*, has carefully considered this move into the commercial marketplace. Identifying a demand for a trustworthy brand that delivers on both hygiene and protection, this range has been designed to make an impact in the sector.

New survey results reveal that 77% of people in the UK want to see Carex in public bathrooms. Brand loyalty is such that 59% say seeing Carex in the washroom would make them feel more positive about the outlet.**

The Professional Bacterial variant meets EN 1499 Standard, determining it safe for hand cleansing and disinfection in medical institutions as well as for general use in the workplace and commercial centres. This, alongside Carex Original, which kills 99.9% of bacteria, means that the range is suitable for use in a wide range of businesses.
