Further supporting its long-term partnership with Claire House, B&M Waste Services was once again the recycling partner for Splash Dash. The event, which took place at Sefton Park in Liverpool, is a 5k course where people can run or walk the route while getting covered in different colours of powdered paint at five stations around the course.
B&M Waste provided bins free of charge for the event and, as recycling partners, B&M Waste Services ensured that all waste produced on the day was diverted from landfill.
Speaking on behalf of Claire House, event manager Mark Pearson said: “The Claire House Splash Dash is a key event for the charity, raising over £250,000 net profit for the hospice since it began in 2013 and it would simply not be possible to organise without the support of the local community and businesses. Bagnall and Morris have provided bins and collection for the event free of charge, and with no fuss, for years and their support ensures that more money is raised for Claire House and also that we leave the park as we find it, which is really important to us every year.”
