Aramark continues winning streak at BICSc NI awards

The team at Aramark continued its winning streak taking home three awards at the BICSc NI region cleaning awards recently. The British Institute of Cleaning Science Awards (BICSc NI region) celebrates innovation, excellence and the continuous improvement of standards across the professional cleaning industry. The awards were held at Belfast City Hall.

Haley McKeeman, who works with the Bushmills Visitors Centre, took home the top prize in the ‘retail’ category, while Rhonda Smyth claimed the top prize in the ‘office’ category and the overall prize of ‘Cleaning Operative of the Year’. Rhonda Smyth works with Ulster Bank DSE Belfast.

Aramark personnel were nominated in six of the seven categories, including securing all three of the shortlisted nominations in the ‘office’ category.

Shane Flynn, managing director for food services and facilities management, Aramark Ireland, said: “Congratulations to both Haley and Rhonda for their consistent hard work and dedication. We are delighted to receive this fantastic accolade. By winning three awards, the team clearly demonstrates the commitment of Aramark employees and the high standards they uphold throughout all our client facilities. This is an industry which it holds itself to the very highest of standards, so it is wonderful to receive this recognition.”
