C&M Online Issue
March 2021
The March issue of C&M continues its focus on the cleaning industry’s role in containing the spread of COVID-19. This month, Astley Shields, air care specialist at phs Group, looks at why reducing the airborne risk of COVID-19 is critical, and Graeme Kelly, assistant director for decontamination services at the NHS Deep Cleaning and Advisory Service, gives advice on keeping your cleaning staff safe.
The main feature this month is washroom hygiene. Not long ago the main challenge facing washroom providers was the need to avoid run-outs in high-traffic areas. With the advent of COVID-19 all that has changed. This feature considers the main issues facing washroom providers today, and looks at new products and technologies developed to ensure facilities and users are kept clean and safe.
This issue also contains two Special Reports: The first - Looking forward, leaving 2020 behind, and rebuilding in 2021 – is by John Shonfeld, Master of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, and the second – ERP: supporting multi-channel sales and improving profits – is produced by Nick Davies, head of software development at OGL Computer.
