Chequers Contract Services has added a further award to its trophy cabinet. This recent success was celebrated at the Croydon Business Excellence Awards 2016, winning the award for its apprenticeship scheme.
The firm has a good track record of investing in its employee’s since it was formed in 1987 as a window cleaning business by brothers Gary and Paul Jeal. Gary Jeal said: “We are incredibly proud of our success at these awards over the last few years. Winning Apprenticeship Employer of the Year for the third year in succession is a great achievement, and a testament to our commitment to developing young peoples’ job prospects.”
The Croydon based cleaning specialist now has 17 apprentices working within the company, and a number of former apprentices have gained permanent roles across the business.
